My first baseball game!

Our neighbors Derek and Kathy have long been telling me how much I was missing out on having not been or even seen a baseball game before, so we saved up stamps through the summer to get free tickets from our local gas station.

Oct 2 2012, Don and I along with our neighbors Derek and Kathy headed out to a Brewers game. It was a beautiful fall day and we didn't run into much traffic on the way down to Milwaukee. We decided to have supper at Friday's and eat out on the deck. There are signs all over the deck "Watch your head" and "Watch for flying balls" because the deck is open to the baseball field and we were there during practice. There were a few close calls, while others were hopping up to catch balls when one would sail our way, I ducked and covered my head. It would be just my luck to get a concussion before the game even started! The food was absolutely delicious!
Warm Pretzel bread served with beer and bacon cheese sauce! I took a picture because I want to remember it forever :)

Our original seat were at the very top in the corner of the stadium and we couldn't see ANYTHING! We couldn't even see the jumbo screen! So we were sneaky and moved to much better seats. We were able to see everything and I was actually able to follow the game pretty well. We even got the see a GRAND SLAM!! Now that was exciting, bases loaded with 2 outs and he cracked it out. they even set off fireworks inside of the stadium.

We participated in some polka dancing and "jump around" we also got to see the Sausages race, none of us picked the winning wiener though.

We had a great time! It had been a long time since Don and I got out of the house together without the kids. We will definately be heading out to the ball game next year! I still don't know if I could watch a game on TV and stay awake, it was so fun to be in the stadium. So glad God blessed us with neighbors that are also friends.
